Job Details

Title: Couchbase Database Developer
Location: Carrollton, TX
Job Duration: 4 months (Contract, possibilities of extension)

Description:

Must be located near Carrollton office. Will primarily work remote but will need to go onsite as needed. Requires SQL Server and Couchbase experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, write, and optimize complex N1QL queries to ensure high-performance Couchbase databases.
  • Develop and maintain .NET application components to integrate seamlessly with Couchbase databases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues to ensure reliability and scalability.
  • Stay updated with Couchbase advancements and drive the adoption of new features.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and code reviews.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Senior-level expertise in Couchbase and N1QL query development, with a proven ability to optimize complex queries.
  • Strong understanding of Couchbase architecture, indexing, and performance tuning.
  • Basic programming experience, preferably in C# or .NET frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative development environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • 5+ years of professional experience working with Couchbase and N1QL.

Preferred Skills:

  • Mid-level experience in .NET development, including C#, ASP.NET, and Entity Framework.
  • Experience with other NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • 2+ years of experience with .NET development.
