Job Details

Please note that this is a 12 to 18 month contract position.

Required Qualifications
  • 1 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, production, or quality roles

  • Basic problem-solving skills and ability to follow detailed procedures

  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a controlled environment

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Flexibility to support multiple areas of manufacturing operations

The role consists of 12.5-hour night shifts starting at 4:45pm to 5:15am. Workdays are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and alternating Wednesdays. Most of the work is in a class 10K clean room using machinery to process our products which start as 6 by 6 glass wafers and end up as a finished product of 1 by 3 glass slides. Much of the shift is worked standing and monitoring tools and the PCs that run them. The role has no heavy lifting and minimal chemical exposure.

Must Haves
  • Experience in a production environment

  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts

  • Experience working in a cleanroom environment

  • Ability and eagerness to learn new processes

  • High school diploma (minimum; experience considered in place of formal education)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Work in a Class 10K cleanroom environment using machinery to process products.

  • Handle glass wafers (6 x 6 ) and ensure proper processing into finished glass slides (1 x 3 ).

  • Stand for extended periods monitoring tools and the PCs that run them.

  • Perform production support tasks, including:

    • Materials handling (shipping, receiving, storing, distributing parts/supplies).

    • Production activities (assembling, filling, measuring, mixing, testing, verifying performance).

    • Test and repair (routine testing of assemblies and finished products, interpreting results, and performing repairs).

    • Quality inspections (raw materials, in-process and finished products to meet quality and reliability standards).

  • Prepare and maintain documentation and records.

  • Enter and access data in ERP systems.
