Job Title: OSP Construction Coordinator
Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ
Pay: Based on Experience
Job Description: The OSP Construction Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the construction and maintenance of outside plant telecommunications infrastructure. This role involves managing projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with various venders to ensure successful project completion. The client is currently implementing splits to save money, and the coordinator will need to QC a variety of jobs, including HFC coax and fiber to the home (FTTH). Additionally, the coordinator will manage the jobs performed by vendors for the ISP.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and oversee OSP construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop project plans and schedules.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications.
  • QC a variety of jobs, including HFC coax and fiber to the home (FTTH).
  • Manage the jobs performed by vendors for the ISP.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets.
  • Communicate project status and updates to management and clients.
  • Manage project resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel.
  • Ensure timely completion of projects within budget constraints.

Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of OSP construction practices, standards, and regulations.
  • Experience with HFC coax and fiber to the home (FTTH) projects.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in project management platforms and Microsoft Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
  • CATV background or experience from a broadband company is ideal.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
