This department has developed a proprietary Java-based software tool with an expert systems component to perform this more efficiently than virtually any comparable hospital system can accomplish. We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst.

Responsibilities include:
- Gather requirements from all registration and billing groups across the enterprise.
- Create workflows.
- Work closely with stakeholders and development teams to translate business requirements for development teams.
- Gain end user approval on proposed changes and enhancements.
- Validate processes and software including creating test cases and Manul testing.
- Provide production support for various applications, which involves responding to alerts, troubleshooting, and performing regular maintenance activities.
- Generate custom and ad hoc reports.
- Troubleshoot data issues.
Requirements include:
- 3+ years of experience as a business systems analyst in a complex enterprise IT environment.
- Strong SQL skills, including experience writing complex queries.
- Experience performing manual testing and creating test scripts.
- Strong data analysis skills.
- Expertise in MS Excel, Word, Access, Visio, Project
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
- Documentation skills.
Desired:
- Strong preference for knowledge of Epic.
- HIPAA transactions and hospital/medical billing
