Job Details
We are looking for a Scrum Master for our client in Fort Mill, SC
Job Title: Scrum Master Job Location: Fort Mill, SC Job Type: Contract Job Description: Pay Range: $55hr -$60hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification.
- Strong hands-on experience as a Scrum Master in Agile development environments.
- Excellent knowledge of Scrum principles, practices, and artifacts.
- Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
- 10 15 years of experience in an Agile development environment.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
- Experience working closely with Product Owners and development teams.
- Experience supporting Agile transformation and maturity initiatives.
- Manage project scope, timelines, and sprint commitments.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach and mentor team members on Agile and Scrum practices.
- Foster effective collaboration and communication within and across teams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders and communications.
- Partner with Product Owners to manage product backlogs and new requests.
- Identify, remove, and escalate impediments impacting team progress.
- Resolve conflicts and promote a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
- Ensure sprint deliverables meet quality standards and definition of done.
- Guide teams toward higher Scrum and Agile maturity.
- Track and report on team performance metrics, progress, and deliverables.
- Promote continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
- Knowledge of additional Agile frameworks beyond Scrum.
- Experience driving Agile adoption across multiple teams.
- Exposure to Test-Driven Development (TDD) and CI/CD practices.
- Scrum framework and Agile methodologies.
- Servant leadership and team facilitation.
- Backlog refinement and user story management.
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving.
- Jira, Confluence, and Agile project management tools.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Master s degree preferred.
- Advanced Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or PMI-ACP preferred.
