Overview:
This position is responsible for analysis at the highest level of complexity and data expertise. Assesses a wide scope of factors affecting business profitability, growth, and efficiency, and aids strategic initiatives to address identified issues. Evaluates current practices, collects information and industry trends, and creates specifications to support business initiatives. Develops and implements process improvements. Participates in special analytical projects and advanced technical reporting. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization.
Responsibilities:
  • This position is responsible for delivery of trusted report and analytical solutions based on a wide-range of use cases for portfolio monitoring and enablement of identification of emerging risks within Credit Administration. This individual will partner with key stakeholders within Credit Administration and various internal lines of defense (e.g. Business Units, Credit, Enterprise Risk Management, Credit Review, Internal Audit) as well as external stake holders (e.g. External Auditors, Regulators) to create relevant and meaningful analytical content and empower these stakeholders with a deep understanding of the underlying business segments.

    Duties & Responsibilities
    • Advising - Create, develop, and nurture a "trusted advisor" atmosphere and brand. Becoming ingrained in the business segment operations allowing for the anticipation of reporting and analytics needs as well as providing insights. Liaison between stakeholder and Business Intelligence & Risk Reporting to collect requirements, design, create, and enhance reports and Tableau dashboards that satisfy stakeholder desires.
    • Reporting - Create ad-hoc and recurring reports, presentations materials, and memos by identifying, analyzing, and interpreting, complex datasets; researching and understanding economic conditions and external events; and combining internal stress testing results and analytics in a clear, concise, and understandable manner enabling data-driven risk management decision making.
    • Meetings and Presentations - Attend various Credit Administration meetings to gain relevant knowledge of emerging risks and changes in credit appetites, policies, procedures and standards.
    • Growth and Improvement - Continuously enhancing knowledge & skills regarding analytical tools, techniques, and methodologies. Proactively looking for opportunities to enhance current analytical capabilities and develop new analysis and reporting to better support Credit Administration and the various Business Segments.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
          • Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Analytics, or modeling, or reporting OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Analytics, or modeling, or reporting
            Skill(s): Proficient in SAS applications, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio, Database management experience


Preferred Requirments:
          • Experience in Banking and Finance Industry, preferably within credit analysis, underwriting or credit risk oversight.
            Experience using Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams).
            Experience With Business Intelligence software (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau and SQL).
