Job Details
Job Title: Salesforce Developer
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Job Type: Long Term Contract
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement customized solutions within the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other tools.
- Work closely with business analysts, administrators, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Integrate Salesforce with other internal/external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
- Perform data modeling, data migration, and data cleansing as needed.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities.
- Maintain proper documentation of development and changes.
- Provide ongoing support and enhancements post-deployment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 7-10+ years of Salesforce development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Apex Classes, Triggers, SOQL, SOSL, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Experience Cloud.
- Proficient in integrating Salesforce with third-party applications.
- Strong understanding of CRM best practices and Salesforce architecture.
- Experience with DevOps tools (Gearset, Copado, etc.) is a plus.
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, App Builder, or Admin are strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Git.
- Knowledge of security best practices in Salesforce.
- Prior experience with Salesforce CPQ, Marketing Cloud, or Field Service Lightning is a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
