SAIC is seeking to fill an opening for a Data Modeling SME in support of our Intelligence Discovery Cell (IDC) operations support. The ideal candidate will require to have extensive experience with NRO tools, capabilities, overhead assets, and ability to work across the Intelligence community to support our MID IDC functions.
Designed and organized methods to help make sense of and visualize a multitude of strategic/tactical problems by developing tradecraft to rapidly decompose multi-INT big data sets into comprehensive visualizations. The candidate will support establishment and operation of MID intelligence discovery projects, work toward multi-agency, multi-int solutions to problems and provide support to the NRO, the COCOM Components and other organizations as appropriate. Formalize/Conduct intelligence discovery knowledge management practices. Make a difference in securing our nation's security through quality capabilities, tools and tradecraft.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide technical collection expertise and operational application of strategic and tactical collection assets in discovery
- Will perform exploration of datasets to uncover, trends, patterns, and insights of datasets
- Design and implement data models based on NRO tools and capabilities
- Use advanced mission analytics techniques to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions
- Create clear visualizations and reports to effectively communicate findings
- Identify business problems and develop data-driven solutions to support specific daily MID intelligence Discovery Cell operations
- Formalize/Conduct intelligence discovery knowledge management practices
- Enable cross-community /agency mission support collaboration and liaise with those agencies.
- Integrate data and visual analytics to help handle the volume, velocity, and variety of big data sets
- Understand user needs and identify capability gaps.
- Enable rapid response with an enterprise solution.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph
- Bachelor's degree and 9+ year's professional related experience
- Must be highly self-motivated; strong technical and leadership background; professional and tactful under pressure; effective negotiation and diplomatic skills
- Must have excellent communications skills, both written and oral, for coordinated communications with organization and representatives throughout the IC and DOD, including senior military and government civilian personnel and contractors
- Understanding of the intelligence community and customer domain, along with strong proven experience of technical fundamentals in IC space collectors, command and control, mission control, and mission processing
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and energetic environment
- Customer focused and capable of representing the customer in community forums
- Knowledge of SIGINT and GEOINT remote sensing systems, protection, and overall space and ground architecture including mission management and/or mission processing functions
- Knowledge of visualization, situational awareness and collaboration tools (i.e. Thresher, JEMA, Bodhi, Chatsurfer) to enhance utility of NRO capabilities to users
