Construction Manager - Fiber Optic Infrastructure (Morrisville & Trenton Markets)

TEKsystems is seeking a hands-on Construction Manager to lead daily field operations for high-impact fiber optic infrastructure projects across the Morrisville and Trenton markets. This is an ongoing contract-to-hire opportunity ideal for someone who thrives outdoors, understands underground fiber builds, and can confidently coordinate crews, inspectors, and stakeholders to keep projects moving forward.
As a Construction Manager, you'll be the eyes and ears on the ground-tracking footage, managing drill counts, and ensuring crews are aligned with project specs, safety standards, and timelines. You'll attend pre-construction meetings, work closely with local municipalities and inspectors, and provide real-time updates to remote project managers.

- Attend pre-construction meetings and liaise with local inspectors and municipalities.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety protocols, and deadlines.
- Report daily metrics and progress to internal stakeholders.
- Serve as the on-the-ground support for remote project managers.
What You Bring
- Strong background in fiber optic or utility construction, especially underground builds and directional drilling.
- Proven experience managing field operations and coordinating with multiple teams.
- Proficiency in Excel, with working knowledge of Word and other office tools.
- Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and adapt to changing field conditions.
- Comfortable working outdoors and traveling locally as needed.
