Job Details

Job Title: Azure Cloud / Server Migration Engineer
Location: 100% Remote (US East Coast hours, occasional off-hours support)
Pay Rate: $35 - $40/hour

We're hiring a Junior Azure Cloud / Server Migration Engineer to join a critical 1-year project migrating servers to Azure. If you re a proactive problem-solver with 1 - 4 years of experience and a knack for keeping systems running smoothly, this remote role is your chance to shine!


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in migrating servers to Azure landing zones (lift-and-shift + modernization).

  • Support backup and recovery operations.

  • Ensure ongoing server reliability and continuity.

  • Work with the infrastructure team to improve resilience playbooks.


Requirements:

  • 1 - 4 years of experience with Microsoft server administration (physical/virtual).

  • Familiarity with Azure migrations, Windows Server, PowerShell, and basic DR practices.

  • Strong decision-making skills; US-based with East Coast hours availability.


Success Metrics: Smooth migrations, reliable recoveries, minimal downtime.
