Role: Advanced Scheduling/Labor Optimization Functional Lead Location: 100% Remote (USA) Job Type: Long Term Contract

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the functional design and configuration of the Workday Advanced Scheduling module.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective Workday scheduling solutions.
- Configure scheduling rules, patterns, shift templates, and compliance settings to meet workforce needs.
- Ensure integration with Time Tracking, Absence Management, Payroll, and other related modules.
- Partner with technical teams on integrations and data migration.
- Provide expert guidance on best practices and industry standards in workforce scheduling.
- Develop and execute test plans, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Deliver training and support change management efforts for end-users and administrators.
- Act as the primary point of contact for ongoing scheduling enhancements and issue resolution post-go-live.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in HR, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of Workday experience, with at least 2 years in Advanced Scheduling or Workforce Management.
- Proven track record of leading Workday implementations or enhancements, particularly in Scheduling.
- Strong understanding of compliance rules, labor laws, and workforce planning.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Workday certification in Advanced Scheduling, Time Tracking, or related modules is strongly preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in healthcare, retail, manufacturing, or other shift-based industries.
- Familiarity with union agreements and complex labor scheduling rules.
- Agile project management experience.
