Job Title: Database Architect
Location: Austin, TX - Hybrid

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Database Architect to lead enterprise data design, architecture, and analytics initiatives. This role focuses on designing scalable data models and systems that drive advanced analytics and support data governance, particularly in the healthcare domain. The successful candidate will architect cloud-based solutions using Snowflake and Informatica, lead cross-functional collaboration, and ensure compliance with accessibility standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing

Strong experience with business intelligence and big data solutions

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform

Expertise in developing, deploying, and managing applications and data storage on cloud platforms

Proficiency in SQL and other database technologies

Experience in designing and implementing ETL pipelines using Informatica

Hands-on experience designing cloud-based data architecture using Snowflake

In-depth understanding of data architecture principles, data governance, and best practices

Experience with ETL tools, data integration platforms, and APIs

Working knowledge of healthcare data standards such as FHIR, CCDA, and HL7

Experience with EHR integration, APIs, and real-time data streaming

Familiarity with EIR Accessibility standards and assistive technologies

Strong leadership and project management capabilities for advanced analytics initiatives

Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with data engineers, developers, and business stakeholders

Experience with metadata management and centralized data governance frameworks

Proficiency in cloud infrastructure management, cloud security, and deployment best practices

Ability to evaluate and integrate emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and big data analytics in healthcare
