Job Description

You will be the Lead Process Engineer for the F-35 System Integration and Test (SI&T) team. Our team performs mission system product integration, functional, non-functional, and regression testing, and plans, authors, analyzes, and reports on tests. Testing is generally at the system level and performed in hardware in the loop venues as well as virtual test environments executing both manual and automated testing.

What You Will Be Doing:

As the F-35 SI&T Leads Process Engineer, you will be responsible for defining, documenting, and educating the team on standard processes, methods, and tools. You will report to the F-35 SI&T Senior Manager and work directly with the F-35 Chief Technical Lead. Your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring SI&T follows prescribed engineering processes
Develop test and integration processes,
Document standards,
Educate engineers,
Build collaboration with SI&T providers, stakeholder, and customers,
Monitor and measure process compliance,
Monitor and measure change efforts, and
Perform process related special assignment.

You will need to be a , and currently possess and be able to maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications

Demonstrated System Architecture or System Integration and Test expertise.

Experience leading technical execution of a team.

Bachelors degree in an engineering/technical discipline.

Desired skills

Current F-35 access and clearances desired.

Systems Engineering Development and Integration familiarity.

Integration and Test familiarity.

Familiarity with Mission Systems Integration Labs (MSIL) and Multi-ship Virtual Development Lab (MVDL) desired.

Experience working with multiple LM Aero F-35 engineering teams (e.g., MS, VS, WPNs, Labs).

Demonstrated communication skills, written and oral with internal peers, internal leadership and/or external customers.

Full understanding and experience within the development lifecycle of the Systems Engineering process.

Full understanding and experience within the SAFe Agile processes.

Experience with the 1LMX transformation to Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)

Experience with the Artificial Intelligence (AI) movements within Systems Engineering

Experience in Aeronautics multiple lines of business

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement
