Internal Job Title: Sr. Electrification Engineer

Location: Oshkosh, WI (Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite)
Duration: 6 Months (With possible extension)

Pay Range: $60 to $70 per hour on W2

Top Requirements

We are seeking candidates with strong vehicle electrification experience, particularly in:

  • Integration of high-voltage components within vehicles
  • Electro-hydraulic pump integration or similar systems
  • Hands-on experience with vehicle-level electrification, not just component development
  • Automotive high-voltage systems in defense applications (e.g., fuel economy, weapons, payloads)

Note: Candidates focused solely on component development (e.g., circuit boards) are not ideal. We need engineers who can approach the entire vehicle system.

Role Overview

The Sr. Engineer - Electrification will design functional, reliable, and cost-effective high-voltage electrical systems for heavy-duty vehicles. This includes engineering analysis, system integration, and support for embedded systems development.

Your Impact

  • Perform engineering calculations and investigations per industry standards
  • Support senior engineers in design, planning, and reporting
  • Manage projects or sub-projects of limited complexity
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers
  • Mentor junior engineers, designers, and technicians
  • Integrate electrical components and circuitry into vehicles
  • Provide technical support during prototype and production builds
  • Ensure regular attendance and fulfill other assigned duties

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Familiarity with:
    • Programming languages and control software
    • CAN/SAE J1939 protocol
    • Automotive high-voltage training/certifications
    • Power electronics and machines
    • Energy storage systems
