Sr. Project Manager

Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the implementation and long-term delivery of a large-scale Housing Management System initiative. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex, cross-functional environments and brings the leadership, communication, and technical expertise needed to guide multi-phase projects from concept to completion. You ll have the opportunity to work directly with senior stakeholders and vendors, shaping the systems that support essential operations and services.


  • Location: Irvine, CA
  • Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $70-80/HR

What You ll Do:

Key Responsibilities


  • Lead all phases of the Housing Management System project, from planning and execution to post-implementation support and maintenance.
  • Coordinate multiple workstreams technical, operational, and business to ensure project goals and milestones are met.
  • Manage vendor relationships, performance, and risk while maintaining project alignment across internal teams and external partners.
  • Provide transparent, executive-level status reporting and risk management to stakeholders and the steering committee.
  • Oversee the effective use of project management tools such as JIRA, Smartsheet, and SharePoint to track deliverables and progress.

Qualifications


  • 10+ years of experience managing complex, enterprise-level IT projects through all phases of the project life cycle.
  • Proven ability to lead application implementations and manage large, cross-functional project teams.
  • Strong background in vendor management, risk mitigation, and executive-level reporting.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills across business and technical teams.
  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology or a related field; PMP or equivalent project management certification required.
