Job Title: Systems Analyst (Learning Management System)
Duration: 12 Months
Work Arrangement: Remote
Client: State Of Maine
The State of Maine is implementing a new enterprise Learning Management System (LMS) to provide a centralized platform for training and education for all employees and external partners. MaineIT seeks a Systems Analyst to create documentation and content for its processes and procedures, to be made available to all MaineIT staff through the LMS, and extended to other State agencies over time.

- Communication skills with an emphasis on relationship building
- Strong documentation skills
Preferred Skills:
- Previous Learning Management Systems experience
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the LMS, including user and content management, and system updates
- Engage stakeholders and support new system implementation
- Analyze systems and procedures; write and revise standards and documentation
- Communicate effectively and train others
- Support additional OIT projects as needed
Experience Required:
- 5+ years related industry experience
- Preferred Education: 4-year college degree or equivalent working experience in business analytics/communications
- Organizational Change Management skills
- Knowledge of all phases of the software development and project development life cycles
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience in gathering business requirements using methodologies like story mapping, impact mapping, and user story refinement
- Experience writing queries and analyzing data
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience writing and executing detailed test plans
