SAP Application Specialist

Location: Remote

Position Type: Contract
Work Schedule: 30 hours per week | Standard business hours | Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Application Specialist with strong technical expertise in development and configuration across multiple SAP modules. This role will play a key part in supporting a mining industry client by ensuring seamless integration, optimal performance, and alignment of SAP solutions with business objectives. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across modules, managing system configurations, and providing both technical support and user training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the integration and management of SAP MM (Materials Management), PM (Project Management), Security, and Finance modules.
  • Manage and optimize system configurations to enhance performance and address evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement SAP solutions that align with organizational goals.
  • Analyze system requirements, troubleshoot complex issues, and provide efficient technical solutions.
  • Support end-users by delivering training, documentation, and ongoing technical assistance.
  • Conduct system audits to ensure data integrity, security compliance, and optimal system performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Extensive hands-on experience with SAP MM, PM, Security, and Finance modules.
  • Strong technical expertise in SAP development and configuration, including ABAP programming and system customization.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a focus on supporting and training users.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
