Role: Test Architect - Automation

Overview:

We re looking for a Test Architect with strong expertise in automation testing, framework design, and quality engineering strategy. The ideal candidate will architect scalable test automation solutions across UI, API, and backend systems, drive innovation through AI/ML-based testing, and mentor QA teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement end-to-end automation frameworks (UI, API, backend).
  • Define and drive automation strategy, standards, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Product, and Engineering teams for seamless CI/CD integration.
  • Lead tool evaluations, POCs, and test optimization initiatives.
  • Mentor QA engineers on test design, coding, and automation principles.
  • Establish quality metrics and dashboards for continuous improvement.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years in QA, focused on automation testing.
  • Strong experience with Selenium, Core Java, TestNG, Rest Assured.
  • Proven ability to build 2 3 automation frameworks independently.
  • Hands-on with Playwright, Cypress, or TestCafe (JavaScript/TypeScript).
  • Expertise in BDD frameworks (Cucumber/JBehave) and Maven/Gradle.
  • Solid SQL knowledge for backend validation.
  • Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins) and Agile/DevOps environments.

Nice to Have:

  • Background in retail or loyalty domain.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
  • Experience exploring AI/ML-based testing approaches.
