Description & Requirements
Our team is the Enterprise Resilience and Incident Management Team (ERIM) & Global Health and Life Safety Team (GHLS) which impacts all Bloomberg teams and business units. Our main goal is to ensure the resilience, health, and safety of everyone who enters the Bloomberg office.
The GHLS program aims to protect the health, safety and wellbeing of all Bloomberg employees and vendors, when at work, home and on the road. This also includes our guests and visitors when on-site at our offices and attending Bloomberg hosted events is one of our highest priorities. The GHLS team focuses its delivery across many areas such as Business Support (ex: Emergency preparedness support, Accident investigation), Compliance (ex: Health and safety policies and procedures, Health and safety office / site risk assessments), Exercise and Simulation (ex: Earthquake preparedness, Fire Drills) and Training (GHLS organizes first aid and re training courses for Bloomberg employees and vendors).

Salary Range = 00 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.

- Be proactive - identify gaps and contribute ideas on everything from UI, product, tech stack and our development flow.
You'll need to have:
- 4+ years of experience in designing and developing software using languages such as Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript
- A Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, similar field of study or equivalent work experience
We'd love to see:
- Familiarity with working in a test-driven development environment (unit testing frameworks like Unitest, Autotest, Pytest, etc.)
- Expertise with any RDBM system like PostgreSQL, SQL Server
- Ability to quickly embrace and master new technologies and put them into practice.
- Passion and strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Redis and Kafka
- Ability to operate within Agile methodologies
- Integration experience with 3rd party vendor system
