Job Title: Industrial Engineer III
Location: Jackson, MI, 49201
Duration: 12+ Months Contract (possible extension of long term)
Job Description:
The Senior Industrial Engineer (Sr IE) supports and advances Operational Excellence throughout the Organization, utilizing intenstive and diversified knowledge of industrial engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments, and leads initiatives to refine processes while reducing waste to yield efficiencies that deliver tangible benefits. The Sr IE uses advanced techniques and the modification and extension of theories, precepts and practices to resolve issues related to safety, compliance, quality, delivery and/or morale. The Sr IE observes the work, conducts time and motion studies, stratifies losses and performs root cause analysis to identify opportunities for improvement. The Sr IE helps implement new and enhanced processes, technologies, policies, and standard work to deliver quality safely, in compliance and within cost and timeliness expectations.

Education: Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
