Job Details

Job Title: APM & Observability Technical Architect (Dynatrace)
Location: Atlanta, GA 30354 (Hybrid)
Type: Contract

  • Implementation and Configuration:
    • Install, configure, and maintain Dynatrace environments.
    • Set up dashboards, alerts, and reports to monitor application performance and infrastructure health.
    • Configure application monitoring, anomaly detection profiles, alert profiles, synthetic monitoring, and log monitoring.
  • Performance Analysis and Optimization:
    • Analyze application performance data collected by Dynatrace to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
    • Use Dynatrace to identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize application performance.
    • Perform performance tuning of Dynatrace applications and find automation methods.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
    • Monitor the health and availability of applications and infrastructure using Dynatrace.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Dynatrace and monitored applications.
    • Manage incidents, problems, and defects.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to implement and tune dashboards, scripts, and alerts.
    • Provide technical guidance and support to team members on Dynatrace functionalities.
    • Serve as a problem-solving partner and cross-train others.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

 

  • Dynatrace Expertise:
    • Hands-on experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining Dynatrace environments.
    • Proficiency in Dynatrace features and functionalities.
    • Experience with Dynatrace PurePaths, Collectors, and Agents.
  • Monitoring and Observability:
    • Strong understanding of Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools.
    • Ability to monitor application performance and user experiences using Dynatrace.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
    • Experience with scripting and/or programming languages (e.g., Python, Java).
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Other:
    • Experience with DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering practices.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
