What You Will Do :
Responsibilities include supporting the stakeholder engagement specialists by developing stakeholder engagement plans, stakeholder maps, amplification plans, community briefings, webinars, fact sheets, info graphics, and stakeholder assessments. Specific responsibilities may include:
- Providing detailed fact finding, research, and analysis on energy-related activities
- Researching topics associated with clean energy demonstration projects
- Assessing stakeholder sentiments and analyzing trends
- Collecting data to evaluate progress on stakeholder engagement activities
- Preparing reports, presentations, and other documents for clients
What You Will Need :
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience
- Experience with utility-scale clean hydrogen projects, NGOs and energy sector organizations
- Ability to travel as needed
- Knowledge of U.S. Department of Energy programs
- Strong interest in clean energy such as hydrogen hubs, direct air capture, long-duration energy storage, carbon management, advanced nuclear, industrial decarbonization, clean energy in rural or remote areas, and clean energy on mine lands and/or relevant experience in these fields
- Must currently reside in the USA
- The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described
- This hybrid position is open to candidates virtually from Arlington, VA
- The salary range for this role may vary based on relevant degree, work experience and physical location at time of hire
- Level of hire will be determined through Guidehouse interviewing process
