Junior Network Technician

ASSYST is seeking a skilled Junior Network Technician for our headquarters in Sterling, VA.
Job Type: Full Time/Permanent
Job Location: Sterling, Virginia (Onsite)

Responsibilities:

• Manages PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software
• Provides basic helpdesk support of computer accounts, access cards, software upgrades.
• Assists with daily backup and infrastructure tasks.
• Assists with managing network printers and copiers
• Tracks and monitors computer inventory
• Documents internal procedures

Requirements:

• Experience working with Linux operating systems.
• Good knowledge of networking concepts, Hardware experience is a plus!
• Willingness to learn and be mentored by technical leads.
• ship is required; with the ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
