The System Administrator and Integration Analyst is a motivated and experienced IT professional with a strong foundation in technical support and a strong interest in expanding their expertise in system administration, integration analysis, and security. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on learning, takes initiative within defined project parameters, and is excited to contribute to secure efficient technology initiatives.
The System Administrator and Integration Analyst will work closely with the System Administrator and Integration Coordinator on managing, maintaining, and optimizing the Libraries' IT systems. This position combines technical expertise coupled with analytical skills to support infrastructure operations, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to strategic IT initiatives within the libraries. The person in this position must have a broad knowledge of both Windows and macOS environments, as well as enterprise tools, and have a solid understanding of system architecture, security, and service delivery.
The System Administrator and Integration Analyst will assist in the administration, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise systems and platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions. Participate in system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning activities. Document system configurations, workflows, and integration processes. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. Take ownership of assigned projects, driving them forward with minimal supervision while staying aligned with team goals and timelines.
This position works in-person on the Columbus campus with a standard Monday through Friday work schedule.

Education and Experience
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or Information Systems or other relevant degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 2 years of systems administration experience.
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python, and a willingness to learn automation tools and techniques to improve system efficiency.
- Experience with system monitoring and logging tools (i.e., Splunk, CrowdStrike, Falcon).
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and grow in the role.
- Commitment to understanding users' needs and delivering reliable, user-friendly solutions.
- Self-motivated with a drive to improve processes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
