Senior Associate, Full-Stack Engineer

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Full-Stack Engineer to join our Liquidity & Financing team. This role is in Pittsburgh, PA - ONSITE/Hybrid (4-day in office/1 day optional remote)

We are looking for experienced hands-on technology lead who can work on design and prototyping for micro component layer across front end and backend as well as train and provide oversight for developers in a global team.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Analytical skills - understanding the business ask first before we kick off with design and dev
  • Initiative & Ownership - we want someone who can run with the task and see it through completion, whether it be doing analysis around the ask or testing the app along with other tech teams
  • Define and maintain architecture, technology standards, and best practices for applications, middleware, and databases for development
  • Responsible for design, prototyping and delivery of software solutions, managing the technical environment (software, data, interfaces, integration), researching new tools and technologies, and developing better analytics solutions.
  • Work with the development team, provide technical guidance, and code review, and assist in debugging, while continuing to contribute directly to the success of the project deliverables.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

Required Skills
  • Angular
  • Java, Spring Boot
  • Oracle or any other Relational DB
  • Micro-Services Architecture, Scalable High Resiliency Systems, Workflow is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
  • 2-6 years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.

Preferred:
  • Agile Development experience, SDLC Tools like Maven, Jenkins, Git, etc.
  • Testing tools like Junit, Selenium, Mockito, Cucumber, etc.
