Job Title:
IT Service Support Analyst 2
Department:
Veterinary Medicine | College Administration
Identifies, analyzes, and addresses problems using a wide range of analysis and solution strategies. Designs, plans, and develops or coordinates the development of client computing needs with a strong emphasis on Apple and Windows products. Utilizes software tools such as JAMF Pro and Microsoft SCCM to manage and implement patches, updates, software installations and comply with University security requirements. Advanced operating systems (MacOS and Windows) and application troubleshooting, detailed understanding of networking in MacOS, the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot peripherals, and integration with other business and enterprise systems. Maintains the maintenance of systems. Monitors system performance; anticipates needs and upgrades. Collaborates with Infrastructure and Applications Team, Administration and Faculty to design and implement new concepts and ideas. Will also be responsible for Tier 2 level support of the Service Desk including troubleshooting of Windows and MacOS systems. Some evening and weekend hours may be required for event support.

Minimum Education Required
Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications
Strong communications skills both oral and written; 2 years of relevant experience in a multi-platform environment, excellent working knowledge of Windows and Mac OS.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION (List all desired skills/qualifications)
Experience with Jamf Pro, Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft WSUS, Crowdstrike, Apple Certifications, Microsoft Certifications. Experience working with installing, configuring and managing Linux Clients. Experience in a clinical operation dealing with instrument integrations and software configurations.
