Description

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in LaPorte, Texas. This is a long-term contract position that requires working 100% onsite alongside a close-knit IT department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills and technical proficiency, contributing to the maintenance and improvement of our Microsoft 365 environment.

Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on technical support for desktop systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 applications, ensuring optimal functionality and user satisfaction.
Configure, monitor, and support Active Directory environments, addressing access and security-related concerns.
Assist with the setup, installation, and maintenance of computer hardware, including Dell and Apple devices.
Respond to user inquiries and provide timely resolutions for technical problems.
Collaborate with the IT team to implement backup and recovery solutions.
Handle configuration management tasks to ensure systems are up-to-date and compliant.
Support mobile device management, including Android and Apple product integrations.
Utilize Cisco and Citrix technologies to address network and system-related issues.
Participate in IT projects, potentially taking on leadership roles to ensure successful execution.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in a helpdesk or desktop support role.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration and related tools.
Solid understanding of Active Directory and its functionalities.
Experience working with Dell and Apple devices.
Familiarity with backup technologies and configuration management practices.
Knowledge of Cisco and Citrix technologies.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and end-users.
Ability to work onsite in LaPorte, Texas, and collaborate closely with a small IT team.
