Job Title: Senior Java AWS Full Stack Engineer (Contract)

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Java AWS Full Stack Engineer for a contract engagement. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Java development, AWS cloud architecture, and full stack web application development. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure, and high-performance applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Java-based backend services, APIs, and microservices.
  • Create and optimize frontend applications using modern web frameworks (React, Angular, etc.).
  • Architect and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS using services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.
  • Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of applications.
  • Collaborate with product owners, UI/UX designers, and other stakeholders to deliver features on time.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve production issues.
  • Stay current with industry trends, AWS services, and best practices to recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Java development.
  • Proven experience with AWS cloud services and architecture.
  • Strong full stack expertise, including Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React or Angular.
  • Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD pipelines).
  • Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of security standards and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication skills and teamwork-oriented mindset.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with serverless architectures.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with real-time data processing (WebSocket, Kafka, etc.).
  • AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Developer) are a plus.
