About the Role:
We are seeking a talented UX Designer with hands-on experience designing user interfaces for hardware-integrated systems, preferably in regulated environments such as medical devices or imaging systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating intuitive, compliant, and user-centered designs for physical products, not just digital applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design user interfaces for software integrated with hardware systems.

  • Develop and document user requirements and detailed workflows.

  • Lead design reviews and incorporate feedback from internal teams and external clinical stakeholders.

  • Apply Formative and Summative testing, User FMEA, and Known Use Error Reports to ensure safe, user-friendly designs.

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional global teams within a structured Design System.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience designing interfaces for hardware-integrated systems, ideally in regulated industries (medical devices, imaging, CT systems).

  • Proficiency in Figma and experience within a structured design system.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with global teams.

Preferred/Desired Experience:

  • Previous experience with the ETHOS Design System.

  • Background in medical imaging, CT, or related regulated hardware environments.
