Key Responsibilities:
- Provide functional and technical support for Oracle OTM modules including Order Management, Shipment Planning, Execution, Freight Settlement, and Carrier Communication.
- Monitor and troubleshoot day-to-day transportation flows across inbound (supplier pick-up), inter-plant, warehouse, and outbound (finished goods).
- Configure and support rate management, routing guides, shipment tracking, and visibility features in OTM.
- Collaborate with Rivian s logistics, procurement, manufacturing, and service operations teams to align OTM support with business processes.
- Analyze logs, perform root cause analysis, and resolve incidents in coordination with Oracle and internal IT.
- Support integration points between Oracle OTM and SAP S/4HANA (P2P, EWM) and external carrier systems.
- Manage service requests via JIRA or SNOW; maintain documentation for configurations, SOPs, and incident resolutions.
- Participate in enhancement projects, testing cycles, and UAT related to logistics execution.
- Work closely with the business to implement continuous improvement initiatives in transportation operations.
Must-Have Skills:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle OTM Cloud or On-Premise.
- Strong understanding of logistics execution, transportation planning, and freight management.
- Experience in configuring OTM modules: Order Release, Shipment Planning, Rate Offering, Rate Records, and Allocation Rules.
- Familiarity with freight settlement, carrier tendering, appointment scheduling, and tracking interfaces.
- Integration experience with ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA or Oracle EBS) and carrier communication via EDI/API.
- Incident management experience using JIRA, ServiceNow, or equivalent ITSM tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of automotive industry transportation flows, especially vendor-managed and OEM-managed logistics.
- Experience with Oracle Transportation Intelligence (OTBI/BI Publisher) for reporting and analytics.
- Understanding of geographic routing, multi-modal shipments, and 3PL collaboration.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, Oracle Cloud Transport Management, or hybrid OTM environments.
