RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Business Analyst in Laurel, MD.
Key Tasks:
* Senior Business Analyst leads business process analysis, use case analysis, and definition of business/functional requirements
* Performs requirements management duties, including requirements categorization and traceability
* Model business processes' current state (As-Is) and future state (To-Be)
* Supports business process improvement and reengineering efforts
* As a Senior Business Analyst, you will create business analysis documentation, including use cases, usage scenarios, data dictionaries, and requirements traceability matrices
* Facilitates lesson-learned sessions and collaboration within and across business units and IT functional areas
* Collaborates with the Technical Writing team to create technical documentation
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field
* Six (6) years of senior-level experience; Ten years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree; CBAP certification (preferred)
* Requirements management tool experience; Business process analysis experience; Prototyping experience; Blueprint experience (preferred)
* Strong proficiency in use case analysis, requirements engineering, and business process modeling/improvement
* Exceptional requirements elicitation and facilitation skills, and expertise in translating business needs into detailed requirements specifications
* Strong ability to collaborate and communicate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful implementation of IT initiatives
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
