Join as a Power BI Developer with strong expertise in Azure Delta Lake and MicroStrategy to deliver advanced BI solutions and enterprise-level reporting. You will design impactful dashboards, lead modernization initiatives, and drive data-driven insights across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain visually compelling Power BI reports and dashboards aligned with business requirements.

  • Implement advanced Power BI features including:

    • Personalization and user-level customization

    • Bookmarks and storytelling

    • Burst reporting and scheduled distribution

    • Dynamic forms and interactive slicers

  • Optimize report performance to ensure seamless user experience across multiple devices.

  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and Common Table Expressions (CTEs) to support data modeling and transformation.

  • Integrate and query data from Azure Delta Lake tables, ensuring efficient and secure access.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate needs into technical solutions, and iterate based on feedback.

  • Lead or support migration efforts from MicroStrategy to Power BI, ensuring continuity and enhancement of existing reporting.

  • Maintain proper documentation, version control, and governance standards for all BI assets.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Engineering Degree BE / ME / BTech / MTech / BSc / MSc

  • Technical certifications in relevant technologies are desirable

Skills: Mandatory Skills

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI development and data visualization

  • Expert-level proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query

  • Strong SQL expertise writing optimized queries, procedures, and CTEs

  • Experience with Azure data services, especially Delta Lake and Synapse

  • Proven ability to implement advanced Power BI personalization and interactivity features

  • Knowledge of enterprise reporting strategies burst reporting, dynamic filtering, etc.

  • Excellent communication, requirement-gathering, and stakeholder management skills

  • Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) with Spanner and BigQuery is a plus
