BI Developer
Job Details
Vaco is looking for a BI Developer to join the team of a local client in the Dallas area. As a BI Developer in this role, one would be responsible for the enhancements, customizations, and maintenance of existing Power BI and SSRS reports.
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity and on-site 4 days a week in Irving, TX.
Qualifications
- 4 years of experience as a BI Developer working with Microsoft BI tools -- SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, and Power BI
- Experience supporting, enhancing, and customizing Power BI and SSRS reports
- Experience developing interacting reports and dashboards for stakeholders and business executives
- Prior experience maintaining OLAP cubes in SSAS
- Must be highly skilled in ETL operations from internal and external sources to create comprehensive data sets
- Prior experience with Python scripting for modifications and extracting and processing data from APIs and integrating external data
- Must be able to optimize SQL queries and improve database performance
- Extensive experience with Excel for data analysis
