Application Programmer

Location: Southern United States (Onsite)

Compensation
Pay Range:$45.27-$64.67/Hrs

Description
* Develop complex requirements and maintain applications to achieve business objectives.
* Design, code, test, debug, and document programs, and support application maintenance.
* Collaborate with business partners to define system application requirements.
* Participate in the full development lifecycle of technology capabilities.
* Engage in continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline setup and automation.
* Work with data analysts and developers to ensure best practices and governance.
* Communicate effectively with managers, peers, and business partners on deliverables and timelines.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and enhance applications in financial crimes technology.
* Provide insight and direction from a data perspective.
* Contribute to story refinement and requirements definition.
* Perform proof of concept to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
* Handle technical aspects including change management and platform upgrades.
* Promote and apply best practices and standards at project and program levels.
* Analyze present-state, develop future-state approaches, and facilitate implementation.

Qualifications
* 10 years of experience in application development and maintenance.
* Strong data sourcing, modeling, and provisioning skills.
* Experience with database-intensive development, migrations, and conversions.
* Proficient in SQL performance tuning.
* Experience with SDLC, Agile, and CICD practices.
* Good knowledge of Unix and shell script development.
* BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
