Java/MuleSoft Developer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Java/MuleSoft Developer with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, support and deploy custom web api applications
• Create software documentation and update existing documentation
• Implement best practices, standards and procedures including quality and delivery methodologies
• Ensure compliance with documented software processes throughout the life cycle of existing and new software products
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and organizational security policies.
• Implement security best practices across Mulesoft and Java applications
• Develop and implement integration strategies using Mulesoft to enhance operational efficiency.
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at optimizing application performance and scalability
• Engage in continuous improvement efforts by sharing insights on enhancing workflows and processes
• Design, develop and implement integration solutions using the Mulesoft Anypoint Platform and Spring boot technologies
• Develop clean and progressively enhanced code for complex enterprise applications

Requirements:

• 2+ years of API development experience with MuleSoft
• 5+ years of Middle tier development - Webservices, spring boot, REST
• 3+ years of backend database development - Oracle preferred
• Experience in using SDM tools - JIRA, Jenkins, BitBucket, etc.
• Very strong communication skills, and ability to interact with senior technology management
• Broad knowledge of Information Security technologies, techniques and processes
• A deep understanding of API design, data integration, and enterprise application architecture
• An individual of high integrity, energy and optimism who is self-directed and motivated
• Financial sector experience
• An individual with excellent communication skills, both oral and written; a person who is articulate and a good presenter of ideas
• A good listener; a person who seeks input and involves others in his/her communications; a person who values and cultivates relationships
• An individual with a demonstrated ability to get things done and make things happen; a person who is resourceful, seizes opportunities and is an innovator

Pay Range: $50.42-$58.42
