We re actively looking to onboard senior Snowflake engineers and architects to join our delivery team for enterprise-grade consulting projects.
Please find the detailed role and expectations below. We are looking for 10 strong candidates with deep Snowflake expertise and enterprise project experience.
Position: Senior Snowflake Data Engineer / Architect
Location: Remote
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Long-term, renewable every 6 months W2
Certification: Snowflake Certification - Mandatory(SnowPro Advanced: Architect or SnowPro Advanced: Data Engineer)
Technical Requirements:
Core Expertise (Mandatory):
Minimum 9+ years of overall experience in data engineering or BI platforms
At least 6 7+ years of direct experience working on Snowflake
Strong understanding of Snowflake s architecture, including:
Virtual Warehouses and resource scaling
Micro-partitioning and performance optimization
Query profiling and optimization techniques
Data sharing, time travel, and zero-copy cloning
Role-based access control (RBAC) and secure data handling
Hands-on Tooling and Integration Experience:
DBT (Data Build Tool): building modular and testable data models
Apache Airflow or other orchestration tools
Fivetran / Matillion / Informatica or equivalent ETL tools
AWS S3, Lambda, Glue, or other cloud-native services
Python or Scala for scripting, automation, and data transformations
Strong SQL skills advanced window functions, CTEs, dynamic SQL, etc.
Preferred but not mandatory:
Experience integrating Snowflake with Tableau, Power BI, or other BI tools
Kafka / Kinesis / CDC pipelines experience is a plus
Prior consulting experience or work in client-facing engagements
Snowflake Certification (SnowPro Advanced: Architect or SnowPro Advanced: Data Engineer) we can sponsor this if the candidate is otherwise a strong fit
Soft Skills & Availability:
Must have excellent communication and client-facing skills the ability to explain both technical and business implications clearly
Should be able to own end-to-end implementation phases: requirement gathering, architecture design, implementation, UAT, and go-live support
Please prioritize candidates who have worked on at least two enterprise-scale Snowflake implementations (migration or greenfield), and can comfortably speak to design decisions, trade-offs, and scaling patterns.
