Job Title: Business Analyst with Power BI

Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid- Onsite 4 days a week)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Business Analyst with a strong background in Power BI development to drive data analysis, visualization, and business insights. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret business needs, develop technical solutions, and ensure high-quality reporting that supports strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with BI developers, Data and ETL teams, and other stakeholders to define business requirements and optimize reporting solutions.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI, DAX, and Power Query to communicate insights effectively.
• Interpret and write native SQL queries to analyze and retrieve data from relational databases (Snowflake, SQL Server).
• Ensure the quality, accuracy, repeatability, and sustainability of reporting, leveraging best practices in data management.
• Work within an Agile methodology to deliver iterative improvements to reporting solutions.
• Provide clear and concise documentation for Power BI solutions and business analysis processes.
• Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders, ensuring that technical solutions align with business goals.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, with a team-oriented approach to collaboration.
• Advanced Power BI skills with expertise in DAX and Power Query.
• Strong understanding of data visualization principles and cohesive report design.
• Experience with relational databases and data warehouses, preferably Snowflake and SQL Server.
• Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Commitment to data accuracy, quality, and sustainability in reporting.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other Microsoft Power Platform applications such as Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataflows.
• 5+ years of overall professional experience with 3+ years of hands-on Power BI development.
• Experience with sales performance reporting and metrics-driven analytics.
