SAP Project Manager Overview
The Corporate Function Program Management Office (CFPMO) is seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to support the implementation of strategic enterprise-level projects.
This role is focused on supporting the APEX Program, a multi-year initiative to replace the existing SAP R/3 platform with SAP S/4HANA.
This modern solution will enhance financial reporting, data analytics, and operational efficiency across Corporate Finance.
As an SAP Project Manager, you will lead all phases of project execution, including initiation, planning, execution, and closure.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring effective delivery of critical project components while adhering to established project management methodologies. This is a high-visibility role requiring strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to drive successful outcomes.
Job Duties
Partner with project sponsors and functional managers to develop key Discovery artifacts (Cost Benefit Analysis, Project Charter, Resource Plan, Milestone Plan)
Lead the development and execution of detailed project planning artifacts
Manage scope across large projects or programs with high complexity and organizational change
Create financial forecasts, monitor cost variances, and manage budget changes through formal change control processes
Develop high-level milestones and detailed project schedules
Independently develop project governance documents (RACI Matrix, Key-Person Risk Assessment, Third-Party Support Assessment)
Identify, track, and escalate project risks using tools such as Risk and Issue Logs and Pre-Mortem assessments
Ensure delivery of all business requirements from development through implementation
Drive continuous improvement and process efficiencies
