Technical Lead
The Opportunity:

A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable cryptologic professionals to achieve their missions, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their evolving needs? Crafting the right system, with the right equipment and sof tware, requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. That's why we need you, an experienced system engineer who knows how to develop the exact system for Air Force cryptologic needs.

As a systems engineer on our team, you'll oversee the designing, implementing, and maintaining of information technology systems for an organization. Your responsibilities will include assessing systems, determining problems, providing solutions to issues that arise, designing systems, upgrading systems, maintaining systems, and brainstorming possible improvements that can be made to a system in the future.

Your knowledge of systems, network protocols, equipment, emerging technology, and configurations will come in handy as you optimize client operations and modernization. You'll serve as a t rus ted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects. Using your technical curiosity and knowledge of industry standards, you'll make an impact on national security missions.

You Have:
  • 12+ years of experience in sof tware, systems, or enterprise architecture roles in secure environments
  • 7+ years of experience leading sof tware development teams using Agile and DevSecOps methodologies
  • 5+ years of experience architecting secure systems complying with RMF, NIST 800-53, FIPS 140-2 / 3, or STIGs
  • 3+ years of experience leading classified SW development or integration efforts
  • Knowledge of data separation, security boun dari es, and enclave deployments
  • TS / SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a CS or Engineering field
  • Security+ or DoD 8140 Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
