Enterprise Healthcare client has an immediate opening for a highly motivated Database Administration Senior Advisor to join their dynamic and growing team. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply!

responsibilities:
The Senior SQL Database Administrator is responsible for installing, configuring, administering, and maintaining the eviCore healthcare database environments, including providing high security of protected health information, monitoring and investigating issues with production applications, evaluating and identifying operational issues within the databases.
The Senior SQL DBA will be responsible for working on tickets and monitoring of the database environment and completing user requests for access, change requests, scripts and responding to performance issues.
qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 - 2017
- 5+ years of experience with Azure Database Platforms: SQL Managed Instance, SQL VM, SQL DB
- Elastic pools for scale and performance on Azure
- Capacity Planning/Storage
- Extensive understanding of DBA concepts and Best Practices
skills:
- TSQL (scripting, stored procedures, triggers, query development)
- PowerShell scripting
- Clustering/Always On technology, Log Shipping, Replication, HA
- Database and SQL Performance Analysis (Index Management and Query Plan Assessment)
- SQL installation and configuration
- Troubleshooting and RCA experience, Incident Management
- Able to recommend, set and apply Standards and Best Practices
- ITIL: Change Management Process and Procedures
- SQL monitoring tools (Idera, SolarWinds, Spotlight, SCOM, Zabbix, SQL Sentry, Foglight, Azure SQL Analytics)
- Experience with ETL, SSIS, SSRS, OLTP
