Job Title: C# .NET Developer
Location: Richmond, VA, (Hybrid)
Position Type: Contract
Interview Mode: Both Web Cam and In Person Interview
Note: The First month will be onsite, then it will go to two days a week remote maximum.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced C# / .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications that support our business operations. In this role, you will work on both new and existing systems, contribute to technical design and planning discussions, and help deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
The ideal candidate has strong experience building menu-driven business applications (such as claims processing, payroll, medical, or insurance systems) using C#, Angular, and SQL Server, and is comfortable working with large datasets, transactional systems, and complex user interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain C#/.NET applications
Build and enhance in-house applications using the .NET framework
Develop user interfaces and screens that support data transfer, navigation, and large data sets
Implement add/update/delete (order-entry style) transactions
Create and maintain reports and new application screens
Debug, maintain, and enhance existing codebases (no API-based architecture)
Participate in design, planning, and project meetings
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience with C# and the .NET Framework (.NET 3.1 or higher)
Experience developing applications using Angular (gRPC is a plus)
Solid experience with SQL Server, including working with large datasets
Proficiency with Visual Studio and/or Visual Studio Code
Experience using source control and build/deployment tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub
Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a C#/.NET Developer
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
