Pay Rate Range: $75.00 - $ 86.79/hr on W2
Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
Position Overview

  • Seeking an experienced Mid-Level System who will support mission-critical systems for a federal customer at Fort Meade.
  • This role involves designing, integrating, and maintaining complex IT systems in a secure environment.
  • The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, scalability, and compliance with federal standards.

Key Responsibilities
System Design & Integration

  • Develop and implement system architectures and engineering solutions.
  • Integrate hardware and software components into cohesive systems.
  • Support system upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning.

Lifecycle Support

  • Participate in system planning, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Maintain system documentation and configuration baselines.
  • Support change management and configuration control processes.

Security & Compliance

  • Ensure systems meet security requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with ISSOs and cybersecurity teams to support RMF activities.
  • Respond to system vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with program managers, developers, and other engineers.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and leadership.

Must Have:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience: 3–7 years of relevant experience in system engineering within federal or DoD environments.
