Job Details
Apple's Platform Architecture group is looking for a motivated engineer with a strong background in power and performance measurements and analysis. The candidate must be self-driven with initiative and passion for taking the latest devices and quickly generating data related to power and performance in a cloud device automation setting. The candidate must have embedded device and modern front end / back end web app deployment experience.
Description The candidate will work with a team developing the next generation of our in-house power and performance device cloud software platform, generating high quality data to inform future product roadmap and direction.

Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $126,800 and $190,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications
- - BS, MS or Ph.D in EE or CE or equivalent work experience
- Strong Background in:
- - Power and performance data collection / Benchmarking
- - Smartphone / Embedded systems
- - Kubernetes, React, modern web application front and backend
Preferred Qualifications
- - Passion for automation and large cross platform device clouds
- - Familiarity with time series measurements
- - Familiarity with real time data processing pipelines
- - Proficiency with Python, TypeScript, React, Docker, Kubernetes, Bash (embedded linux) and Binutils
- - Experience developing for iOS and Android devices
- - Familiarity with Windows and macOS development
