Mandatory Certificate : Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark

Job Description : 8+ years of extensive IT experience with multinational clients working in diverse fields of software development lifecycle with experience in Big Data/Hadoop Ecosystem.

  • Hands-on experience on Apache Hadoop ecosystem components like MapReduce, Sqoop, Pig, Hive, HBase, Spark, Kafka, Oozie, Flume, Zookeeper.
  • Excellent knowledge on Hadoop Components such as HDFS, Name Node, Data Node, YARN, Resource Manager, Node Manager, and Map Reduce programming paradigm.
  • Experience in analyzing data using HiveQL and extending Hive core functionality by using custom UDFs.
  • Proficient in Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).
  • Extensive working knowledge of Partitioned table, UDFs, Performance tuning, compression related properties in Hive.
  • Experience in optimizing the pySpark jobs to run on Kubernetes cluster for faster data processing.
  • Involved in converting Hive queries into various Spark Actions and Transformations by creating RDD and Data frame from the required fields in HDFS.
  • Experience with Snowflake cloud data warehouse and AWS S3 bucket for integrating data from multiple source source system including hive tables into snowflake table.
  • Experienced in Designing ,architeching, and implementing scalable cloud-based web applications using AWS and Azure.
  • Experienced on migrating SQL database to Azure data lake,Azure data lake analytics,Azure Sql Database,Data bricks and SQL data warehouse and controlling and granting database access and migrating on premise databases to Azure Data lake store using Azure Data factory.
