Job Details

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Project IT Manager IV with our large power and utilities client in Charlotte, NC. This is a 24-month contract with a potential for extension. This is a hybrid position - 3 days a week in office.

Pay: $65.00 - $75.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end project delivery for IVR migration from Nuance on-prem to Genesys Cloud.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, architects, and vendors.
  • Ensure adherence to project governance and reporting standards.
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units.
  • Drive successful implementation using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in cloud migration projects, ideally involving Genesys Cloud and/or Swampfox technologies.
  • Strong background in call center and IVR systems.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in enterprise environments.
  • Expertise in both Waterfall and Agile delivery frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-vendor projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP or Agile certification (Scrum Master, SAFe, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Nuance IVR and Genesys Architect.
  • Experience working with regulated industries or large-scale enterprise environments.

Work Arrangement

  • Hybrid role: 3 days per week in-office in the Charlotte region.
  • Occasional travel may be required for vendor or stakeholder meetings.
