RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Category Analyst in Saint Louis, MO.
Responsibilities:
Data Management:
* Managing all retailer/syndicated data via Catalyst Power BI
* Cleansing data from retailer or Nielsen in Shelf IQ
* Refreshing Catalyst Data
* Updating products, store lists and captaincy in Catalyst Data Manager
Reset Process Assistance:
* Ad hoc and non-KPI account assistance in cleansing planograms, loading Shelf Reporting Suites, Distribution Grids and Add/Delete Reports
* Attend retailer meetings and help prepare and present content as needs present itself
Routine Communication:
* Monthly Insights/Newsletter
* Holiday Insights
* Internal/External Content for regular meetings
* Region New Hire Training/Onboarding
* Best Practices and Monthly Award Submission
Team Organization:
* Manage Teams site to organize presentations, content, and best practices
* Reset timelines and calendarizing the processes for all accounts
* Master file for all accounts with relevant info (captaincy, resets, retailer information
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree, emphasis in Business or Marketing related fields
* Strong familiarity using space planning software (JDA/Blue Yonder, Apollo or Spaceman)
* Proven ability to think strategically and take insight into action
* A deep sense of accountability, ownership, and passion
* Project Management experience and strong communication skills with cross functions
* Demonstrated ability to synthesize and leverage multiple data points/insights (shopper, consumer, category, product) to create retail strategies that unlock growth
* Familiarity with syndicated data, software and measures (IRI, Nielsen, demographic data, panel data, etc.) and digital category manager tools (i.e. Numerator)
* 2+ years of experience in category management is a plus
* Beer, Wine and Spirits background in a sales or category capacity a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
