Job Details

Description

To perform integration, regression, and functional testing on systems to ensure compliance with system requirements and [Client] business practices and policies.
Assists in the analysis of functional and technical requirements and the creation and editing of test cases for new or modified systems.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Quality Assurance Analyst to certify system testing complete and ready for production

  • Create and edit test cases in accordance with system requirements

  • Create, modify and/or locate the data and conditions needed to execute test cases

  • Identify areas for improved testing processes

  • Modify, coordinate, and schedule input to maintain the test environments

  • Report testing activity including time spent, testing time lost, and discrepancies found

  • Serve as test lead on projects

  • Ensure clear, concise, and effective communication of material

Full Life-Cycle Project Management

  • Establish and lead project teams

  • Develop project plan/scope/schedule/cost/communications

  • Procure and/or manage resources, timelines, deadlines, and quality

  • Manage Risk, Issue, and Change

  • Ensure successful project implementation

  • Maintain appropriate scope of responsibility

Additional Responsibilities

  • Serve as subject matter expert regarding business functions, systems, policies, and/or procedures

  • May assist with addressing employee inquiries or problem resolution

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Experience in testing complex systems across various platforms

  • Advanced knowledge of development or operations framework methodologies, including Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • Advanced organizational, planning, and time management skills

  • Advanced research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

  • Advanced skill in maintaining accuracy with attention to detail and meeting deadlines

  • Effective skill presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives, and information clearly and concisely

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Bachelor s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
