Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst with strong experience across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to gather, document, and translate business requirements into clear user stories and functional documentation using JIRA and related tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in all phases of the SDLC, from requirements gathering through design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, supporting sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders to understand business needs and system gaps.
  • Translate business requirements into well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional requirements, process flows, and use cases.
  • Manage and track requirements, user stories, and tasks using JIRA.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and product owners to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented correctly.
  • Support UAT activities by validating requirements, clarifying business rules, and assisting with defect triage.
  • Ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with SDLC methodologies.
  • Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Extensive experience in requirements gathering and analysis.
  • Strong expertise in writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Solid experience using JIRA for backlog management, user stories, and tracking.
  • Excellent documentation skills, including BRDs, FRDs, process flows, and use cases.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with business and technical teams.
