Trident Consulting is seeking a " Quality Control Sampling Technician " for one of our clients. A global leader in business and technology services.
Job Title: Quality Control Sampling Technician
Location: Sinking Spring, PA (Onsite)
Job Type: Contract-W2 (Contingent Classic)
Pay Rate: $22.00 $24.00/hr on W2
Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:30 AM 4:00 PM (Overtime as needed)
Position Overview
This position is based in the warehouse and is primarily responsible for performing Quality Control (QC) sampling activities. Upon completion of daily QC responsibilities, the individual will provide support for broader warehouse operations as needed.
Key Responsibilities

  • Perform sampling of incoming raw materials and components in accordance with established Quality Control Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support global manufacturing operations.
  • Conduct routine cleaning of the Sample Room, including daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
  • Collect monthly Environmental Monitoring samples using specialized equipment such as an air sampling unit and incubator.
  • Affix barcode labels to materials after the sampling process is completed.
  • Record and review temperature and humidity data from tracking charts.
  • Execute all assigned tasks with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records with excellent attention to detail.
  • Exhibit strong quality integrity and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Communicate effectively and demonstrate solid mathematical skills.
  • Support warehouse operations as needed outside of primary QC responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED (Required); College degree preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Experience with SAP, Infor LX, Microsoft Excel, and spreadsheet applications preferred.
    • Understanding of ISO standards and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Skills:
    • Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
    • Strong focus on accuracy, documentation, and adherence to SOPs.
    • Ability to prioritize safety and maintain compliance in a regulated environment.

Physical & Safety Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Must comply with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, including:
    • Hair net
    • Scrubs
    • Safety shoes
    • Safety glasses
    • Nitrile gloves
    • Respirator mask (as required for certain job functions)
  • Standard physical exam required based on job duties.
  • Exposure to chemicals or substances requiring PPE.
  • Use of a respirator required per EHS guidelines.
