Job Details

Position-JDA/O9 MFP Consultant (Merchandising Financial Planning)
Location- New York City, NY (10022)
Primary Skill:

  • 3-5 support/dev exp. in JDA MFP(Merchandising financial Planning) or O9 MFP(Merchandising financial planning) Or Dev/ Support experience in Merchandise, planning, allocation, or Retail domain.

Secondary:

  • 3 5 years of strong experience working with at least one relational database (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL). SQL Server and Oracle are preferred
  • Good to have knowledge on any of scripting language(Perl, Python)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day today application support, including troubleshooting, break fix activities, and system monitoring.
  • Implement approved enhancements, configuration changes, and data integrations to support evolving business needs.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across integrated systems; identify root causes and document solutions.
  • Work closely with business users to understand functional needs and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Perform unit testing and support QA and UAT efforts as required.
  • Maintain documentation on system interfaces, mappings, configurations, and support procedures.
  • Support change management processes, ensuring smooth deployments and minimal business disruption.
  • Partner with vendors to manage incidents and coordinate fixes or updates.
  • Stay informed on relevant tools, technologies, and best practices to enhance support efficiency.
